VFFF was established as a family charitable trust in 1962 through the generosity of the late Sir Vincent Fairfax.
Ethics in leadership
The Vincent Fairfax Ethics in Leadership Foundation supports the development of high standards of ethical leadership among outstanding Australians.
For requests over $25,000 VFFF has a two-step application process which begins with a preliminary enquiry followed by a formal submission which is by invitation only. For requests between $10,000 and $25,000 VFFF has a single step small grant application.

VFFF considers requests under four themes:

Christianity
Community wellbeing
A preliminary enquiry is designed to provide an outline of the funding request without being onerous to complete.
